Message, Annual Report 2006-2007
 I
am very excited to present the Rotary Club of Albuquerque Del Norte Annual
Report 2006-2007.
The Rotary Club of Albuquerque Del Norte completing its 19th year of
service, turned in outstanding results across all categories. On the income
side, we finished at 104% of plan while we held expenses at only 93%.
Under this year’s motto “Lead the Way,” Del Norte delivered
exceptional results across all Avenues of Service; International, Community,
Club, Youth and Vocational. We surpassed our expectations and established
some precedents including media coverage of our sister club visit from the
Rotary Club of Juarez Oriente. This was an exciting event because it
demonstrated how Rotarians, working with international partners, come
together to serve the community.
Our fundraising endeavors were an
extraordinary success. As a result of our annual golf tournament and Rotary
Gala 2007, “License to Thrill”, we delivered $57,500 to the Del Norte
Foundation.
District 5520 recognized our achievements
by awarding Del Norte with the Community Impact Award. We met our membership
and service goals and received the Presidential Citation 2006- 2007 from
Rotary International President, W.B (Bill) Boyd.
